On a small but well controlled series of rabbits Werch (1943) found that when digifolin was given I/V to the rabbits in comparatively large amount, it caused a significant decrease in the coagulation time of blood. In addition there are many other reports which favour the above hypothesis; notably those of Detakats, et al (1944), Gilbert, et al (1943) on experimental animals, and of Massie et al (1944)
